Not sure if you saw my post, but I spend days trying to get this to work
and after hours on the phone with Google, this was what worked. ______I
had everything factory reset when I did this but I couldn't get my nest
router to see the internet connec...
Did you try this? I swear, it worked for me with spectrum. I got this

I finally got my Nest router to communicate with my Spectrum modem by
doing the following-with Nest router connected, unplug modem, wait 2
min, and restart it-when it boots up, go on your phone and turn off
cellular data- go to your wi-fi connections...
Did you end up with a fix for this issue? My internet went down, I
factory reset my nest router and it kept saying it can't see internet
from my provider. I finally got so frustrated I went and bought a new
router thinking something short mine out!
