that you go ahead and run a new six wire tstat wire form your furnace to
the nest . It might work if you put a jumper from y1 to g but too many
things could possible go wrong . ...

control wiring is 8 conductor 18ga . You would have all the correct
colors then and if you were to ever up grade your system you will have
the extra wires available for things like out...
Now that I have realized what you have do what i thinks going on is you
mistakenly reinstalled your old tstat incorrectly. Move the blue wire to
C and move the white wire to W . Don’t worry about the heat pump stuff
you have a conventional system
Not for sure what you have going on there??? normialy blue would be
common or Cwhite would be heating or W1red is 24 volt hot or Rgreen is
blower motor or Gyellow is cooling or Yit is possible that you may have
