Correct. And then I was told it is only mended in Google Home app and will not work in Nest app at all

No, as I contacted support and they told me that my doorbell cannot be managed in the Nest app. The only way is through the Google Home app, which does not offer me any options that I need to record or control the device. If that is not correct, plea...
