It seems like it would be wise for Google to state this in the
Chromecast set up instruction pamphlet that comes in the box.. would
save us all a bunch of time and avoid potential problems..Thanks for

Thanks for sharing.. I couldn't figure out why my chromecadt wasn't
starting up.. won't run on the USB port from the TV.. needed to plug it
into the wall outlet.. sorry it's not easy for you to do that..
definitely an annoying limitation.
