call google. If the thermostat keep searching for networks and can’t
find any and you get the w5 code,call them. There is a known problem.
They will send replacement.
I have 4 of gen 3 leaning thermostats and the newest one I have
encountered this problem twice and each time it required a replacement
from google. They were very quick on replacement. It’s a known issue
(W5) code
