Nest Yale Lock locking backwards

Hi. I've reset my lock multiple times hoping that it "hands" correctly, but it keeps locking backwards. I read that there was a code to reverse the handing, but that code includes # signs which my lock doesn't help. Thanks for the help!!Lewis
