I bought a new iphone 13 mini and gave away my old Samsung to my housemate. Did a full reset on the phone before giving away so my google account is logged out on the device. The problem is, that I can’t use the find my phone feature on my new phone ...

The strange thing is that I can’t even see my new device here. My only device unchecked is my smart tv stick but I still use that.

Thanks for the quick and helpful tips. I did every step that you mentioned multiple times and even tried to do a full reset on the google home mini but it still can’t find my new phone for some reason.
