Nest thermostat reconnect

I cannot remember my 3rd generation learning thermostat Wi-Fi password and the “forgot password” emails are not reaching me. Would trashing the technicalinfo.PLIST file on a laptop allow me to create a Wi-Fi password on the thermostat again?

Hi MarkI ended up trying every password I ever used in the last 10 years until I finally got one. It shouldn’t be this time consuming!

Hi MarkISP doesn’t keep any of the customer’s passwords.
