Hi, the google wifi point has never appeared in my google home app as it is a second hand point I purchased from ebay which has never been setup on my wifi network before. I tried all the other steps and still get the same error message. kind regards...

Still not had any luck, I even restarted my whole system again from scratch and get the same problem

Hi, do you mean the button on the back of the point? If so, I have held this down (which made the lights flash orange then turned blue then I let go of the button) I assume this was a factory reset?
