the thermostat gives me an entry code however the code contains a dash and on the app there is no option for dash under entry code it only has letters and numberswondering if i should buy a different brand thermostat ahd throw this thing into garbage...

i allready have done that many times unfortunately it does not seem to work i was able to do it with the first thermostatand after several days with the second one but the third one does not want to accept neither the entry code nor the code scan eve...

allready done that also used the mic to input the code via voice still nothing. incidentaly it is not a dash it is hyphen
