Our electrician has just installed our Google Nest doorbell. It chimes
when you press the button, however nothing registers inside unless it’s
pressed twice. I’ve tried restarting the doorbell and that didn’t work.
Any suggestions??
Thanks for following up. It seems to be working ok now. However there is
a lag between when the doorbell or pressed and the announcement on our
Google Hub. At least it doesn’t need to be pressed twice though.

My electrician is coming back to have a look. I’m wondering whether it’s
the WIFI, maybe a slow connection? Either way if he can’t recommend
anything I’ll contact Support. Thank you for your response!
