I am unsure if this a thermostat issue or a Google Home/Assistant issue.I used to be able to tell any of my google home/assistants (nest audio/mini, Pixel phone) to take actions with the Nest Thermostat (change temp, run fan, etc) and it worked fine....

I'll give this a try but if this in fact is the case Google forked up shiat once again. This used to work flawlessly.There is absolutely no reason voice commands should not work when custom programs are set.
