And now everything seems to be back to normal. Frustrating when it seems that there is no issue with the status of the system.....

also pressed the button on two of the nest protects and got a notification it was checking network. Answered with please check again later.... Also tried with another router with same network settings.....no results...

have done a factory reset of router with no change with nest products. Our 3rd Gen NEST thermostat and sensor is all good.
