I can't believe a huge company like Google is willing to put their name
on such crap. Obviously this Google Camera department is outsourced and
Google is just slapping their name on the devices. There was ZERO
Quality Assurance done on the last firmw...
Does Google even bother testing these new firmware updates before they
release them? OBVIOUSLY NOT. We, the customers, are the BETA TESTERS.
Such an awful company.
My nest battery cameras FINALLY, after 3 months received this magical
v1.69 firmware, and its WAY WAY WORSE than before. Daytime quality looks
decent, but nighttime quality is 110% AWFUL. I have lights near my
cameras at night so no need for night vi...
There is no fix. Google has not released any new update that's going to
fix this. Resetting modems, routers, all that, is just simply a waste of
time. I mean, if you feel like wasting 2-3 hours if your time doing
reboots, go ahead. But, I for one, ha...
It's really comical that everyone paid $200-400 each for these high end
cameras and Google has totally ruined them with one single update. Class
action lawsuit coming!
