Unfortunately, i had no luck with google and ended up buying a
replacement unit. this is unacceptable as this seems to be a common
problem occurring just after the warranty expiration.
i am having the exact same issue as well and my Nest thermostat has been
working for 2.5 yearsi did everything in your post and called Nest
Support and did all of the troubleshooting again.Nest support told me to
buy another one! very disappointing.
