I've been so disappointed in Google products and software numerous times
lately. The chromecast especially, I'm also ready to bin it and give up
on Google altogether
Agree. Why not allow us to roll back the software update to an earlier
version where it was working in the mean time. It's not good enough to
just tell us to use a different remote and wait some unknown amount of
time until it's fixed
