Yes worked for me, I just stopped the Android IR remote service, cleared
the data then I was able to program the IR volume power and TV input
buttons without any issues.
Well, in the meantime they've upset enough people that are unfortunately

Nope, don't hold your breath. Amazon has fire stick 4k on sale for 25
bucks. Roku is another option if you don't want to spend the money on
the nvidia shield.
