OK my problem is fixed. The "not heating when it says it is" turns out not to be NEST. I had a sticky valve!My apologises to Google Nest.

As I said before mine has stopped deciding to change the mode on its own BUT it is still saying its heating when it isn't. Totally inconsistent and unreliable.Google please fix your software!!

Yep, I've had the same thing. Yesterday it stopped doing it!However it is still randomly not heating even when it says it is. At other times its fine.Frankly this is shocking!
