Avoid the Nest Thermostat unless you want to buy a new one every 2
years. I thought they were a good product but exactly 2 years after
installation the battery will no longer hold a charge and guess what you
are out of warranty.
You point the flaw in the thermostat, the thermostats battery loses its

You keep threatening to lick a thread that needs to let people know that
the product is a scam. You will get 2 years out of the battery and will
be out of luck. There are far better options out there.
