This is 100% not a solution. It will still pop eventually, as everyone who has tried this will tell you. 

just keep listening because it won't be fixed. You will eventually hear them again. I thought when I did something similar the pops disappeared but they're just really inconsistent/unpredictable, so chances are you're just not noticing them.

Unfortunately it would take a Christmas miracle.

I've had this problem for months and there are previous threads about it. They are aware. It's a widespread problem. I'm currently on firmware version 375114 and I haven't noticed popping sounds in a while. I could be wrong though. I'll keep listenin...

I've been experiencing this within recent weeks also. Like everyone else said, rebooting and factory resetting does nothing.
