Question: can I pause the 5g and 6g bands for a period of time and set the cameras up to connect to 2g? If I create a DHCP reservation, would that lock the device to that band of wifi?

Update:My Ring cameras all dropped off network again and this time I'm not able to reconnect them by restarting the network in the home app. I contacted ring and they believe that because the devices require a 2.4g connection the way the Nest handles...

If you go to the Google home app and click on wiri, there is as option to restart the network. You can do this remotely so you don't have to be there physically. I did this every time and the cameras would come back online.

I performed a factory reset on the Google wifi pro and so far the cameras have stayed online. I didn't mess with any other settings. It's been a few days at this point. So far so good
