smoke sensor failure on 5 year old unit. cleaned and replaced batteries
and even the unit says "replace me". cracked the button trying to save
it. now it looks like the other 3.
I went back and aggressively used canned air and a strong shop vacuum
over every nook and cranny and only then did the unit pass its checks.
The hugh ugly hole in the middle does not say this Google product is
well made. Suggest offering free vinyl s...
I took the back off (4 small screws) and used canned compressed air in
every nook and cranny then a very good vacuum and sucked every cranny,
then compressed air again and that restored the sensor.
