If they're in BC there is no way they're running their heat pump in
cooling mode right now. I think that was just some backstory. 21C in the
winter is not an unreasonable temperature to have set.
If the thermostat is keeping your home in the temperature range that you
set, it's doing it's job (telling the equipment to run until the
conditions are met, and then telling it to turn off) and I would suspect
an equipment problem for higher than ex...
If you have it set up in the Nest app it should automatically appear in
the Home app. Are you sure you're logged into the same Google account in
both places? You're not still using an old Nest account on the Nest app
are you? If you are you're going ...
My guard randomly goes offline now and then, but usually connects by
itself again shortly after. You've already done everything anybody would
suggest (remove from account, factory reset, etc.) and if it still
doesn't work the only other thing I might...
You can see and control all of the Homes you're a member of, so if
you're a member of the home your daughter is a member of you'll have
full access to all the devices in that home as well.
