Can't Control Nest Lock from Google Home

Installed by Nest Yale Lock.  It is connected and works without any problems when using the Nest app.  I went to Google Home and added the Nest Yale lock.  For some reason Google Home named the lock "Custom" even though it is named "Pool House Lock" in the Nest app. From the Google Home app, the lock intermittently works but most of the time is just says "something went wrong". When I tap the setting icon, it says "Problem connecting to the cloud".  I have factory reset and redone installation twice and end up in the same situation.

Cal anyone help with this problem?

Thanks for visiting the Community. I'm sorry to hear that and for the delayed response. Setting up your Nest x Yale lock must be done thru the Nest app as it has basic functionality in the Google Home app and it's limited to lock or unlock, lock tone volume, auto-lock timer and one touch locking. You can't set up your lock in the Google Home app. Have a look at these articles and let us know if you need more help: Nest × Yale Lock installation and setup and Control your lock with the Google Home app.

If you have it set up in the Nest app it should automatically appear in the Home app.  Are you sure you're logged into the same Google account in both places?  You're not still using an old Nest account on the Nest app are you?  If you are you're going to have to migrate it to a Google account before you can use your Nest devices in the Home app.
