Nest asking foe "Current Pin"

I am trying to log in to my Neat remotely via the Nest App.I am using a smartphone that has never logged in to the Nest before.Nest is asking me for the "Current Pin". I do not think a locking pin was ever created on this Nest... so I am at an impass...
