Hello. I just updated to ios 17 and now the alert sound is just a small,
almost inaudible blip. Is there any way to change it back to what it was
before updating? Messages does not use this sound.
Apple DOES have options for sounds. This is Nest’s app, not apple’s.
It’s not up to apple to make it where you can change the sounds in
nest’s app.The ONLY direct path to fixing this is nest making an option
to change the sound, not rely on the defau...
This is on nest. It’s lazy for app dev’s to rely on the default
notification and not have a way to change. It’s not up to apple to make
a way for nest to change notification sounds.
What I should have said is that nest needs to have a way to change it
and not rely on apple's default sound. It's a crap way to do it. Unless
apple changes the default back it will be up to nest to do just
that.......which I am not holding my breath....
