Chromecast 4K Resolution Setting Not Available

I have the Chromecast with Google TV 4K connected to a Sony Bravia TV. The resolutions settings disapeared from the settings menu and the resolution is set to 720 when the TV supports 1080p. I have waited for updates and tried factory reset but still...
