Chromecast 4K Resolution Setting Not Available

I have the Chromecast with Google TV 4K connected to a Sony Bravia TV. The resolutions settings disapeared from the settings menu and the resolution is set to 720 when the TV supports 1080p. I have waited for updates and tried factory reset but still no luck.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We’re sorry for the delay in response. I just want to confirm: are you not getting any option at all for “Resolution” as you go to Settings > Display and Sound > Resolution? There was a bug about this long ago that has been resolved. Kindly let us know.
