Xfinity XFi gateway and google Wi-Fi

I currently have the Xfinity XFi gateway and google mesh Wi-Fi. Xfinity Wi-Fi no longer pops up only google Wi-Fi. Is that supposed to happen. How do I maximize range while keeping networks separate?
