Managed to sort this myself. It turns out to connect the Nest Protects
to wifi you have to connect to the main Deco M5 unit i.e the one you set
as the router. After doing a factory reset then placing my Nest Protect
near my router Deco M5 it all conn...
Thanks for replying. I decided to restore all my Nest Protects to
factory settings as l couldn’t even connect to them at all. Now l can
connect to them via my phone using the Nest app but l get a message with
this error code: p005(4072)The Nest Prote...
I'm having exactly the same issue.Changed my router and now l can't
update the Nest Protect wifi settings. When l try the Nest goes blue and
the app just sits on the screen that says 'Connecting' and nothing else
happens.
