Unfortunately, making that settings change had only a minor impact for
me. I disabled the setting and there was no immediate change. I
restarted the network and, as usual, speeds jumped back up to 180/37 (I
pay for 200/35, so that's more than fine). ...
I bought mine through Costco and may ask them about a refund. Given the
issues and the history, I don't think Costco will balk at refunding the
