firmware version 1.56.275994 cannot connect to a 5GHz WiFi, only works
on a 2.4GHz WiFi.reset to factory doesn't work, still in version
1.56.275994, plz help

I tried reboot router, update router firmware, no work.5GHz and 2.4GHz
are separated SSIDs.Chromecast is located under 5 meters from router.It
has connected to 5GHz and worked for 6 months or more. the problem
happened about 3 days before now without...
Same here. Cast Firmware version is 1.56.275994. works for a few years
with 5GHz, but now only can work with 2.4GHz. reset to factory doesn't
downgrade back to 1.50.xx. help.
