Thermostat not working

I thought I unlocked the Learning Nest 3rd Gen before removing it from the app on my phone but there is still a pin on the device and I do not remember it. I am completely locked out. I tried this but it did not work for me.

I followed the forum instructions on attaching the USB and it shows the Technical info Plist
