For me, the fix was renaming the 5GHz SSID in the admin. Forcing
everything to connect to the 2.4GHz network (only) immediately resolved
the issue. Everything (Chromecast, nest mini etc) once again connected
without issue.
really curious Huntaft, did you manage to figure this one out? I am
having the exact same issue, bit only with my new optus 5g modem. Can
set them up but then get told it is not on the same network as my phone.
