I wonder if someone can help me. I’m having problems associating a 1st
Gen temperature sensor to a Nest Learning Thermostst 3rd Gen. In the
Nest App I’ve been able to add the sensor but I can’t work out where/how
I can associate it to the Thermo.
Hi again. The Thermo had the latest software. When I remove the thermo
from the Nest app and then try to add the sensor, I get an error message
that the sensor must be paired with a Gen 3 or 4 Learning Thermo. And
then I’m not able to add it. Regards...
Hi AnaI performed the suggested steps, however when trying to add the
Sensor to the Nest App I'm still getting the following message 'Waiting
for thermostat update. Before you can add a Nest Temperature Sensor,
your thermostat needs a software update...

Thermostat and also re-install the Sensor, but no luck.I'm getting the
