Try disabling Google Assistant on your phone(s) and see if that resolves anything.

SOLUTION: This worked for me, let me know if it helps. I turned off the Google Assistant on both my and my wifes phone and "Walah" the nest hub 2nd seems to be working fine now. It was a real PITA

Having the same problem too. I think it might be related to the Android 15 update
