They sent a whole set but just said to change the display and return the rest with the old display. The odd thing is if I reset up the old display it just connects without any issue and doesn’t even ask for the heat link code.

So did full reset and got to language screen. Took off base and put ti one side put new nest on base went through set upheld down button in heat link for 40 seconds and flashes blue (initially flashed very fast for a few seconds and then slowly flash...

Just too add the old nest doesn’t appear to do a full reset. It does reset and takes away time and date etc but it still has the WiFi stored in it and connects to the link straight away. It’s like it’s not actually doing a full reset.
