I truly hope they resolve the issue. I don't need some over bloated
device trying to do too much. I just want to be able to cast from
YouTube, Prime and my laptop. It worked so well for so long.
I am having the same issue. Its the 2nd gen chromecast that I've had
since 2017. It has been plugged into my tv via hdmi and gets it's power
from the usb A slot on the TV. It connects to the wifi and shows the
rotating pictures, weather info and time...
