Hi - I have six gen 1's in my house. Can I replace them with the tado theromstat X? Would they fit on the same mounting panel on the walls?

Agreed. Also, cant they just tell me what I need to do? Like do I need to rewire everything? They have offered me a discount on the Tado thermostat but is that compatible with everything else like heatlink?

Ok understood but does it plug into the same backplate as the gen 1? I.e., is it compatible?
