I have 2 wired Nest Hello Cameras on two different chimes and
circuits/transformers first installed in 2019. Several weeks ago both
began suffering a catastrophic failure mode by which the act of pressing
the doorbell instantly renders the camera off...
I have having the same issue. This is a terrible failure mode from a
safety standpoint, for the device to fail to perform it's primary
function and provide live video and communication when someone is
actually at the door.
