Yesterday the app let me remove the thermostat. Then I went to the
thermostat itself and did a factory reset. I was able to set it up again
afterwards and it's now working as usual.
I read in another post that it seems to be an issue with the Google home
app when they updated it a few days ago. Looks like they're working to
get it fixed with an update to the app.
