This kind of reeks of Apple's slowing down the performance of the iphone
forcing people to buy new iphones when a cheaper battery replacement
would have done the trick.
Google really did a number on us this time. Forced us to upgrade our two
Gen2 thermostats to Gen4 with a discounted code (still not cheap, $160 a
piece with tax). Fine, I played ball. I Have two other Nest thermostats,
but they are Gen3. Guess what? ...
