I called my local gas company SoCalGas and they have a company that they're using and you can get a discount through your own gas company I ended up getting mine for less than 200 bucks through SoCal Gas

I are currently having a second generation Nest I need the upgrade to the 4th generation so I can use my app again

Never received an email for a discount on an upgrade
