SAME issue here. 2 minis, gen 1, each have been through multiple phases
of basic fixes, and we just ran through a factory reset on both,
re-adding them to the home app, etc., to land right back at the same
erroneous error message of "Your Google Home...
We're a 2 Pixel mobile phone house, soooo.... is there at least an ETA
on the fix? I can't imagine Google is thrilled to be telling customers
to use a competitor's device to resolve a bug in the compatibility of
