Nest Audio will not connect to WIFI

I bought a Nest Audio in Canada and cannot seem to get it to connect to the WIFI. Is it because the Nest Audio is configured for use only in Canada or not compatible in Mexico?

I just bought two cameras and neither will install get the message "can't connect to assisting device".....very disappointing
