Can the Nest Thermostat (powered just by its internal two AA batteries)
be used as a stand-alone wi-fi thermometer? I want to monitor
temperature in several rooms without actually controlling the temp. The
house has wi-fi.
Will look into the Emerson Sensi. Looking forward to hearing about your
experience after install. BTW - I’ve purchased about a dizen Nest
thermostats for several homes. Have been eyeing the smoke detectors.
Would really like to see more product offer...
