Google Nest Community

I'm unclear on the purpose of this forum. Is it an extension of Nest support or is it a place where users (and helpful pros) can work out problems?I came here because an internet search showed a thread where someone was having the exact same problem ...

This will not work for me. I don't have cooling in the house and a 4-wire is installed. I had to use the Y wire as the C wire to get the thermostat to work. I will need to pull a 5-wire when I get a new furnace & humidifier this spring.
