Adding device in google home app saying “something went wrong”

I am having the exact same issue.

Used to all be fine until I switched off my nest mini and put it in another room and it wouldn't connect, so I deleted it from the google home app and tried to re-add it but keep getting "Something went wrong, check your privacy settings on your iPhone" absolutely infuriating!

Havn't been able to use the speaker for months now. Weirdly on my account I have our doorbell but now my TV is doing the same thing. Someone suggested they disabled IPV6 on their router which seemed to fix it, which I have done and turned the router off but still have the same issue.

Have lost count of the amount of factory resets I've done on the nest, also deleted the google home app and tried to set up through my iPad and still the same issue.

Please can someone look into this? I have seen SO many threads here with NO solution given! Only factory reset as a suggestion which everyone has done and it doesn't work.
