I am frustrated beyond belief. We've had a Nest thermostat for a few years now. Two years ago, we added a Nest Yale lock. Everything worked fine. I migrated the account to Google months ago. That was fine. We went on vacation last week and now it won't let me log in. I click the "Log in with Google" button, but it just keeps recycling back to that same screen after I "allow" permissions. It won't move on to let me access the system on the app. I have zero trouble logging in with Google on a computer; it just won't let me into the app. This now means that I'm also not getting any of the notifications for the cameras/doorbell, obviously.
Things I've already done:
- power cycled the phone, multiple times
- uninstalled the app, multiple times
- gotten on the same wifi as the Nest system, now that I'm home
- updated my Google password
I'm on an iPhone XR, my iOS is up to date, and the app doesn't show that it needs any updates. Why can I not log into the app on my phone??
