Hi Jsutton718,
Thanks for posting in the community and apologies for the late response. Is the Nest app installed on the car monitor itself? If so, Nest app can only be downloaded in Android phones, IOS and tablets. Here is more information about the Nest app requirements. https://goo.gle/3PkCBGb

No it is not downloaded to my car however, when I check the camera on my phone and then get into my car because my phone is connected to my car the app connects to my phone and the only way to make it stop is to turn off my Bluetooth. I do not get alerts to my phone when there is activity on the cameras because I have to turn it off, which defeats the purpose of having it.

The exact same thing is happening to me! And it actually shows it is calling my own phone number. But it's only when I check my Google nest while in my car. Weird. If I disable Bluetooth, it stops, but annoying!!

I am having the exact same issue. My phone is a Galaxy S22+. If I watch a video event from my Nest camera on my Home app, my phone app opens up in my car and says I'm calling my voice mail. I used to be able to disconnect that "phone call" by clicking "end". However, I now have a new Galaxy watch and the problem is worse. I have to disconnect my watch from my phone to correct the issue. If I'm in my car when I watch the video (while my husband is driving) I have to completely restart my phone to get the call to disconnect. Once this happens, and I try to watch a different video on my phone (not from my cameras on my Home app), the sound is sketchy and skips. Either disconnect from my watch and then reconnect, or restart my phone is the only way to fix it. HELP!!! So frustrating!

Hi everyone,
I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here and we appreciate you sharing with us what you've done. To confirm, what is the make and model of your mobile phone? Have you tried using a different phone and check if you're still getting the same issue? Try disabling the bluetooth permission of your Nest app and Google Home app through the settings of your mobile phone.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Emerson

I can only speak for myself, but NO, nothing has been "covered." There have been no solutions posted so my issue still exists. So frustrating. Makes me want to ditch my Nest cameras and go to something else.

The only thing that I've figured out that stops it is selecting clear all or closing the app. I still can not figure out why the sound I a distorted when I'm watching the video history or the camera however.

If my phone is connected via BT to either my car or my watch, once I watch a camera video on my phone through my Home app, I have to turn my BT off for a few seconds and then I can turn it back on. Everything is fine again until I watch another camera video through the Home app. That's the only way I have found to get the sound distortion to go. It seems to have something to do with the BT in my S22 phone and the Home app. My husband doesn't have this issue on his Galaxy Flip phone. I didn't either until I got my S22. I'm not sure if it's a Samsung BT issue, or a Google Home app issue.

Hi all,
@Jsutton718, what mobile device are you using when you are viewing the cameras with a distorted sound? Have you also tried a different mobile device to see if it is also the same?
@catlover4ever, I know how it feels when something isn't working. For us to check if this is a device specific issue or app, what I can suggest is to try another device, tablet or iOS for us to see if there will be a difference.
Keep me posted.

Nikki
